- 500 ml (2 cups) milk
- 120 g (4 ¼ oz) chocolate
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Whisk the cornstarch with a little of the milk in a bowl until smooth.
- Add the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt to the mixture and whisk to combine.
- Heat the remaining milk in a pot over medium heat. Add the cocoa mixture, whisking continuously.
- Bring the hot chocolate to a gentle simmer, then add the chocolate. Continue whisking until the chocolate is fully melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
